Pros: perfect size for a small balcony. Room for a laptop and a plate with your breakfast, and a cup of coffee. My roommate and I can eat comfortably on the table…but not room for three. The hardward is functional and does securely attach to almost any sized balcony edge. Ours is much thicker than the one shown in the ad picture (4″ thick or more) and it still fits. Table top does swing down and out of the way, which was the whole purpose of buying it. I wanted a darker color but it only comes in white, but it does wipe clean easily.

Cons: The molded plastic top is hollow underneath…and is very lightweight. I was worried about stability, but it does stay up. Everything is hollow aluminum tubes…which is okay, but it does look a little cheap. There are tubes that go up and over the top of the balcony edge, but what you can’t see in the picture is that they are VERY LONG and look a little odd sticking out over your balcony if your balcony edge is thin like the picture. I guess you could cut them, but I don’t have anything to cut them with.

Overall Satisfaction: I didn’t return it, because it met the need, but for the almost one hundred dollars I paid for this item I expected a little more quality. It is basically a injected plastic cheap top with aluminum brackets…the materials look extremely cheap and had I seen it in person in the store, with this price tag, I would not have purchased it.
